There are lots of aspiring immigrants to Canada from around the world whose background relates to taking care of children, elderly, those with special needs, and other family members. These immigrants can now apply through the new caregiver pilot program.
Caregivers can apply for permanent residence either through Home Childcare Provider Pilot or Home Support Worker Pilot. This program gives the caregivers an option to come to Canada to work temporarily and eventually become permanent residents.
